# DBA to SRE Portfolio

Use invented data and disposable systems. Replace every placeholder with verified evidence. Never commit passwords, tokens, private keys, customer records, production hostnames or private addresses.

Suggested evidence:

- `sql/schema.sql` — idempotent schema with constraints and rollback notes.
- `scripts/health-check.sh` — read-only automated health evidence with meaningful exit codes.
- `runbooks/database-unavailable.md` — symptom-led recovery instructions another operator can follow.
- `incidents/postmortem-template.md` — blameless timeline, impact, causes and owned actions.
- `decisions/0001-template.md` — architecture choice, alternatives and consequences.

Every artifact must state environment/version, expected result, actual result, verification, rollback/cleanup and date. Work through a branch and pull request; require CI; attach the academy evidence index; ask another person to reproduce at least one procedure.
